Join our Preserves Manager Dillon for Wednesday Workdays, weekly stewardship-focused visits to KELT’s preserves!
Wednesday May 29 will not only be our first Workday Wednesday, but it will be a special one - this will be dedicated to rebuilding picnic tables and installing a kiosk and shade shelter at our LOCAL Garden in Bath! All are welcome, and we would especially appreciate a willingness to do a little carpentry or getting in the garden dirt.
Wednesday Workdays happen most Wednesdays from 9:30 am until noon, May through October. The location and activity vary; Dillon will send out an email each weekend with the upcoming Wednesday’s project details. Come for as many or as few as you can! Sign up to join the email list below!
On any given Wednesday Workday, you can expect to perform tasks such as:
trail infrastructure work like bridge repair, blazing, etc.
quarrying stone for trail projects
removing invasive plants
building a new trail kiosk
& more!
