Our Vision
“To support vibrant habitats and healthy, equitable communities in the Kennebec Estuary region into the future. We do this by partnering with local organizations and community groups, thus creating a network of resources and building our collective social resilience. ”
KELT supports food security and access to healthy food, increasing connections to food grown locally. In addition to managing LOCAL Garden, we support the efforts of Merrymeeting Food Council & Good Food for Bath.
KELT supports the use and access to active transportation and healthy physical activity in the region, including assisting with facilitation of regional trail efforts that provide a corridor of connections to natural and community areas.
